Cataract Removal

This procedure can be carried out at our registered clinics in Calais France. Whenever possible, we aim for the operation to be carried out on the same day as the initial consultation, followed by an overnight stay at the Clinic for observation purposes. For convenience these operations can be carried out over a weekend if required

As our cost for this Procedure is much lower in France, it is possible to offer our services at much lower rates than those normally found in Great Britain, and in many cases are very competative with rates found elsewhere in Europe

Glaucoma Treatment and Operations

These procedures can be carried out at our registered clinics in Calais France. Due to the nature of Glaucoma, each case is independently assessed by our Surgeons who will then advise you on the most appropriate treatment or operation.

Corrective Lens Implants

For those whose prescription is outside the normal treatment range of Laser Vision Correction, then intraocular lens implants are an option which is available. Implanted lenses can be used for the correction of more severe levels of short sight, long sight and astigmatism. Implants are a tiny lens which is placed inside the eye in a manner similar to that used for cataract patients. The lens is inserted through a small incision in the side of the cornea and sits in front of the eye's natural lens, just behind the cornea. The benefits of this method are that the treatment is pain free as it is conducted under a general anesthetic, and also the visual recovery is fast with very good visual acuity results and the success rate is very good.
